Ryan
Volberg,
Co-Founder, CEO and President
A pioneer in the hospitality point of
sale community and the driving force behind Vivonet's
revolutionary Zata market sales intelligence platform
and the Halo payment and point of sale product, Ryan has
been active in software development for over a decade
and is passionately committed to the success of retailers.
Prior to co-founding Vivonet, Ryan founded
several start-ups including medical device manufacturer
Oxygenics. As a successful entrepreneur and technology
visionary, Ryan is involved in the local technology community
and dedicates time every month to mentoring start-up technology
companies.
Ryan studied Business Administration
and Psychology as Simon Fraser University and obtained
an honors certificate in Computer Based Information Systems
from the University of Victoria. Ryan was a professional
musician for almost ten years, recording and touring in
Canada and parts of the US. He currently resides in Anmore
(Port Moody), BC with his wife, two children and beagle
Lucy.
Ryan was recently named on the Business
in Vancouver 2007 'Top 40 under 40' list.

Victor Holysh
Chief Financial Officer
Victor has proven his ability to lead people, develop scaleable operational systems and deliver strong operational results in very high growth technology companies.
Victor's previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Loki Management Systems and Vice President, Internal Operations at Retek Inc., a large Minneapolis-based software provider to retailers, acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2005. From 1996 – 1998, Victor led Sierra Systems Consultants’ North American financial systems implementation practice.
Victor holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Tom Kakanowski
Chief Technology Officer
Tom Kakanowski is a management and technology professional with 19 years in the information technology
industry. His emphasis is on providing leadership for the architecture, implementation and
support of secure n-tier web sites, enterprise tools, management systems, and the development
of their components. Areas of expertise include analysis, design, development, quality assurance,
usability, performance, scalability, security, and fault-tolerance within mission-critical
environments, with a strong background in best practices for enterprise-level software and
hosted systems.
Tom holds MBA and MSc degrees, as well as MCSE, MCDBA
and PMP certification and was nominated as a 1998 Canadian IT Excellence award
finalist. His sophisticated knowledge in all project phases in systems integration,
internationalization, database and business intelligence, real-time, and enterprise systems bring
both strong management and technical acumen to the Vivonet team.
Tom spent several years as a musician, journeyman chef, pilot, skydiver, scuba diver and competitive sailor. Recently, Tom has moved from Ontario to Port Moody, BC with his wife, two dogs and two cats. On weekends, Tom explores his new city on motorcycle along the coast and mountains.

Kevin
Froese
Vice President of Sales and
Marketing
Over the past eight years, Kevin has
held several senior sales and sales management positions
in information technology and has proven experience with
growing vertical market technology companies. In a position
as Director of Strategic Solutions for Vancouver-based
Class Software, a company that provides software and services
to public sector and non-profit agencies, Kevin helped
to build industry leading market share and grow revenue
by 200%.
Kevin joined Vivonet from a subsidiary
of Titan that sold enterprise systems to the government
utilities sector.
Kevin also was an accomplished rugby
player who played competitively for many years. Kevin
studied Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver,
BC and resides in Coquitlam BC with his wife and three
children.

Graham
Hill
Vice President of Client Services
and Retention
From 1997 until he joined Vivonet, Graham
worked in several key positions in the customer care teams
for Active.com. Prior to joining Vivonet, he directed
and oversaw the growth of the team that now supports over
a thousand enterprise clients where he consistently delivered
an industry leading average customer satisfaction rating
of 8.9/10 with an annual customer renewal rate of over
99.5%.
Graham also has played university-level
hockey, coached the UBC women's hockey team and has traveled
the world extensively.
Graham holds a BSc in Physics from the
University of British Columbia in Vancouver and resides
in Coquitlam, BC with his wife and two children.
