Halo POS is compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard and has achieved the Visa Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) certification for Level 1 Service Providers, the highest security level certification in the payment industry.
Many restaurant POS (point of sale) companies are CISP compliant, but only Halo has achieved certification. The difference being the validation of compliance whereby Halo had to verify and demonstrate compliance status to earn certification.
The CISP certification was awarded to Halo as a Level 1 Service Provider that provides payment gateway services to merchants. To maintain this level, Halo must continue to undergo regular audits to prove adherence to the CISP standards.
