Vivonet is currently looking for Intermediate and Senior Developers for our Burnaby, BC office, reporting to the Infrastructure Development Manager. We push the limits of the technology and want someone who strives for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and implementation of new and existing products
• Participate in design/code reviews and inspections
• Participate in the creation and improvement of internal software development standards
• Provide leadership and mentoring for development and compliance functions
• Drive software best practices ensuring high quality work
• Discover software learning and training opportunities
• Acquire and implement cutting edge software tools
• Create and support a web service infrastructure for 20,000+ organizations, and 100,000 consumers

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• 1+ years of .NET 3.5+ experience

(Senior):

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of C# experience
• 3+ years of WCF experience
• 2+ years of WWF experience
• 3+ years of web service provisioning
• 2+ years of public facing web service provisioning
• 1+ years of working within an ESB environment
• 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
• 1+ years of COM+ experience
• OO and UML related experience

(Intermediate):

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of C# experience
• 1+ years of WCF experience
• 1+ years of WWF experience
• 1+ years of public facing web service provisioning
• 1+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
• 1+ years of COM+ experience

Additional Assets:

• 2+ years of JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, XML, XSL experience
• 2+ years of ASP.NET experience
