Alaa Pasha - President and Chief Executive Officer

Alaa joined Vivonet in October 2014 as the company’s President and CEO. He has over 20 years of executive management and leadership experience in software and service companies that provide solutions to the global hospitality market. Alaa has a passion for consumers, sales and marketing expertise in the worldwide restaurant industry, and a track record scaling technology businesses globally. Most recently, Alaa was the Senior Vice President with Red Book Connect. In that role, Alaa was responsible for the global alliance and channel business. Prior to Red Book Connect, Alaa served as the President and CEO of MacromatiX, where he led the company from a small Australian business to a global market leader in the SaaS back office business for the restaurant industry. Alaa was also the President and CEO of Compris Technologies, a subsidiary of NCR.

Caroline Dunn – Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer 

Caroline oversees Vivonet’s Finance and Operations groups. In addition to the day to day management of Vivonet’s finances, Caroline’s operational teams are responsible for maintaining the high standard of customer experience that Vivonet's clients have come to expect. Caroline has held financial and operational executive roles in leading Canadian technology companies for the past 15 years. She is an accomplished leader with a proven ability to deliver shareholder value through strategic growth in North America and Europe. Before coming on board with Vivonet, Caroline worked as the CFO of a healthcare consultancy and a mobile data solutions company. Previously, she lead Sierra Systems for 8 years where she held various senior executive positions. Caroline is a Chartered Accountant and serves on the board of a pan-Canadian non-profit organization.

Erick Kobres - Chief Technology Officer

For the past 25 years, Erick has built consumer transaction software technology systems.  Starting in the late 80's, he built the first open-systems based POS system for convenience stores.  He has also built transaction systems for specialty retail, postal, and self-checkout environments, including systems installed at every US Post Office as well as every location of 4 of the top-10 US retailers.  Since joining NCR in 1997, Erick has lead teams who have developed and deployed successful solutions for self-serve checkout, quick-serve restaurants as well as travel self service web, kiosk and mobile ticketing.  Throughout his career, Erick has focused heavily on innovation and finding new forms of value for customers.  He currently has over 30 published patent applications and granted patents.  In his most recent role Erick led the NCR's Corporate Applied Innovation team.

Jonathan Pryor – Vice President Sales Foodservice and Hospitality

Jonathan is responsible for building Vivonet’s relationships with current and prospective Foodservice Management and Hospitality clients. In this role, he uses his broad industry experience and technical background to empower Vivonet’s largest brands with our cloud technology. Before joining Vivonet Jonathan worked at SmartStore Business Intelligence Solutions where he was the VP of Sales for the foodservice management, restaurant, specialty retail and supermarket vertical markets. Previous to SmartStore Jonathan worked at InfoGenesis (now Agilysys) for 23 years. At InfoGenesis, Jonathan began as a Systems Engineer but quickly moved into a sales position and ultimately landed a sales executive position. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing the InfoGenesis global sales team. Jonathan is the proud father of 12 children and lives with his wife and family in New Jersey.

Michael BanikVice President, Enterprise Sales

Michael is a seasoned sales professional with a depth of knowledge and experience in all parts of the hospitality industry. He has spent the last 30+ years forming solid, long-lasting business relationships with clients, prospects, and partners. Always armed with a smile and a plan, Mike is dedicated to producing his best as well as bringing out the best in those around him. Michael has demonstrated his ability to close hardware, software and services deals valued as high as $10 million and has extensive experience with consultative selling approach both domestically and internationally. He enjoys consistently exceeding quotas while mentoring and motivating his teams to do the same. Prior to Vivonet, Michael built his career in VP of Sales or Enterprise Business Development roles at Positran, XPIENT Solutions, Radiant, Redbook Connect-HotSchedules and Compeat. Michael lives in the Atlanta, GA area with his wife and 6 amazing children.
