Lukas Blucher

Lukas Blucher has a degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on integrated circuits and physics. Since the early eighties Lukas has specialized in turnaround management and business troubleshooting.
In the nineties, Lukas started doing private equity and business investments. He is very active with investments in 8 companies at various stages of development. He is involved in a number of Associations, including B-to-V (Brains-to-Ventures) and WATT (Winning Angels Think Tank) and holds directorships in three US and in four European companies, primarily in the IT sector.

Wendy Porter

Wendy Porter is a seasoned communications technology expert with in-depth experience in the payment processing industry in Canada and the United States. She has held several senior positions with both Moneris Solutions and the Bank of Montreal and most recently was the President of Vital Merchant Services of Sacramento, California. Wendy currently serves on the board of directors of Radiant Communications Inc. TSX:RCX.

Charles Cook

Charles Cook has been with Discovery Capital since March 2001. In this role, Charles identifies and structures investments for BC Discovery Fund, and works with the management of portfolio companies to assist in creating value, typically as a member of the board of directors. He is also CFO of the Fund, and responsible for its financial management and capital raising activities. Charles brings nine years of investment banking experience in advising private and public companies to Discovery Capital, and assists Discovery Capital portfolio companies in structuring financing and in completing acquisition and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining Discovery Capital, Charles was a director of Dundee Securities Corporation, providing investment banking services in Alberta and British Columbia, prior to which he worked in a similar role in the Vancouver office of a national investment dealer. As well as being a CMA, he holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
